"A Challenging Year That Tested Our Mettle But We Prevailed..."
2015 LCP OVERVIEW
Tuxtla to Durango
2015 was the year we proved our true mettle! Crashing in the qualifying round due to mechanical problems, the car wasn’t able to compete the first two days due to severe damage. But our amazing support crew rose to the challenge and repaired the car staying up all night to ready the car for a start in Mexico City. Additionally, an essential part was contributed by a local Porsche collector who cannibalized one of his 356s. With immense time penalties against us, we focused on racing with maximum speed and great precision, and regained nearly all the time lost. Once again, Renée was the only woman to finish the race and the 2nd place win made it even more glorious for Valkyrie Racing. The team overcame the hurdles before them and completed the race---always the first and biggest goal!!!
